Executive & Personal Assistant To CEO
About Co-Dough
Co-Dough is a fast-growing sourdough bakery built around exceptional quality, hospitality, and creating memorable customer experiences. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Personal Assistant to work directly with the owner — supporting both the business and day-to-day personal needs to help her stay focused and on top of everything.
The Role
The Executive & Personal Assistant will support the owner across a mix of business and personal tasks — from scheduling and communication to errands, coordination, and special projects. This role sits at the intersection of personal assistance and executive support, requiring someone who can seamlessly shift from managing a calendar and preparing materials for a business meeting to handling personal logistics and day-to-day life organization. No two days will look exactly the same, and that variety is exactly what makes this role unique.
The right person for this position understands that supporting a business owner means supporting the whole person — not just the professional side. You'll be trusted with both the details that keep the business moving and the personal tasks that free the owner up to focus on growth and leadership. Discretion, reliability, and genuine care for the people you support are just as important as organizational skills and follow-through.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, discreet, resourceful, and one step ahead at all times — someone who takes pride in being the steady, behind-the-scenes force that makes everything run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize the multiple email inboxes and personal correspondence
- Support customer-facing communication
- Coordinate the owner's calendars, appointments, and meetings — both professional and personal
- Run business and personal errands as needed
- Coordinate interview scheduling on behalf of the owner as requested
- Maintain organized digital files, documents, and records
- Assist the owner with tracking personal and priority projects as directed
- Track the owner's deadlines and ensure personal tasks are completed on time
- Prepare documents, summaries, and materials
- Support the owner's organizational systems and workflows
Qualifications
- Must live within reasonable distance to Newport, Rhode Island
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative
- Reliable transportation for errands and occasional off-site tasks
- Comfortable with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and technology
- Professional, positive, and solution-oriented
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, household manager, or in a similar support role
- Experience supporting a small business owner or entrepreneur is a plus
- Background in hospitality, administration, or customer service is welcome
What We’re Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
- Love creating order out of chaos
- Naturally anticipate needs before being asked
- Are just as comfortable picking up supplies as you are organizing a calendar
- Enjoy variety and can shift gears quickly
- Take pride in being the person someone relies on
- Are trustworthy, warm, and professional
Schedule
- Position starts as part-time can flex to full-time if needed
- Flexible schedule based on the owner’s needs
- Some weekend availability required
- Occasional early morning availability may be needed
Compensation
